A 90 x 90 cm silk twill carré. A radial medallion commands the centre, opening into ordered panels of amber, ink-black and cream across a deep olive ground, framed in gold. The composition turns on exact symmetry, so however the silk is knotted, the eye is returned to a single, deliberate burst of warmth at its heart.
